Trumansburg Rotary is hosting the "Chris Bond T-Burg Rotary 5K Run/Walk & Youth Run".
Date: Sunday October 19th @ 10am, starting and ending on the Trumansburg School campus; preregistration is encouraged, and race day registration closes 9:45 am.
Proceeds of the race will be used to benefit the Chris Bond Memorial Scholarship Fund and Trumansburg Rotary Programs, including constructing shelters for players on the school soccer fields.
Rain or shine. School facilities will be available (locker rooms, showers, bathrooms, and tent). Post race refreshments for all, cash awards for overall winners, prizes for age-group winners, trophies for scholastic standouts, raffle, massages.
START and FINISH: on the Trumansburg School Campus. Fast, flat course with downhill finish is plotted through the Village streets.

Race begins and ends at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. Race along top rim of gorge to Whirlpool State Park, make the turn and race back. The Keuka Lake DASH & SPLASH at The Switz runs into gear on Sunday, August 23rd at 10:30 a.m. and will surely put the FUN in fun run. Not only is The Switz the best place to eat, play, and stay on Keuka Lake, but the race is surely one you'll always remember. Participants run a down and back course filled with cheering bystanders and music and then have the option of splashing across a photo finish line into the cool waters of Keuka Lake or taking the (easy) dry way out. (Disclaimer: lifeguards not on duty.) Early registrants also get the coolest schwag that's perfectly themed for the lake - a pair of DASH & SPLASH '09 flip flops. T-shirts also available for sale at The Switz while they last.

The committee and volunteers of Sperr Memorial Park will host the first
"TIME TO SPERR" race September 26, 009 at 8:45 am at the park, featuring
10-kilometer and 3-kilometer events and a family fun run around the park
pond. In respect for AJ's ultimate sacrifice, we want to hold this 1st
annual "Time To Sperr" run/walk at the park to honor his service to our

Greek Peak Adaptive Snowsports is an all Volunteer organization that helps bring the joy of wintersports including skiing and snowboarding to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn. We have been giving skiing instruction to people with disablities for over 30 years. please come out and enjoy a fun day in the park. we have catagories for runners, walkers and for individuals who use wheelchairs.
