Trail Running Stoneheads, Road Running Pavement Pounders, and Track Smacking Maniacs

Quote of the Month:

"I saw every single stone I passed and tried to run with my mouth closed. But not running is not an option. It's become a large part of my life and who I am."
-- XC runner Jamie Luketic, commenting about running again after being saved from choking to death by a quick-thinking coach. During a collegiate meet, the runner in front of Luketic accidently kicked a stone into the air and it lodged in Luketic's throat. Coach Mark McClure witnessed Luketic choking and administered CPR and popped the rock out of her throat.
