The Web site: www.ithacatriathlonclub.org,
is up and running. It's still a work in progress, but you'll get some
good information on what to expect. The Triathlon is set for Aug. 3, at
Taughannock State Park. It will include individual and a three-person
team categories. You'll swim a half mile in Cayuga Lake; bike from
Taughannock to Cass Park and back on Rt. 89, and the run will be 4 to 5
miles in the park region, and up a big hill past the lookout. The
triathlon will begin and end at the south shore section of the
park. Organizers expect about 175 individuals and 25 teams to fill the
field. Keep checking the Web site, and we'll keep you updated.
The next round of Team in Training information meetings are set for June. Two nearby:
