Three-time 24-hour national champion John Geesler, a familiar face on the Finger Lakes Trail Runners Circuit, finished second overall with roughly 154 miles.


World 100K Championship
Taiwan, Nov. 15

Nikki Kimball of Elizabethtown, N.Y., a a former Finger Lakes Trail 50-Mile overall champion, placed eighth overall -- and first American female, in 8:51:35. The American women's team placed fourth overall.
