Good Luck Marathoners

Good vibes to everyone running their first, last or somewhere in between marathon in the next few weeks. As we go to press, the official marathon season kicks in through December. It used to be people ran just one, but now it's one every weekend or so. If you run a marathon, please e-mail us your results if we miss them.

The Wineglass Marathon, on Oct. 6, is our "hometown" marathon, so to speak. The public is invited to attend the race expo, Sat., Oct. 5, at the Baron Steuben Building on Market St., in downtown Corning. It's open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there will be vendors and a guest appearance by Dick Beardsley. He'll be autographing books, and chatting with runners.

If you're running, go over and pick up your packet and Chip. If you're not running, just go and have fun.
