All-Stars at Pud's 5K

The following local runners hit national ranking age-group performances at the Pud's 5K. Those times have been submitted to USATF by the Pud's race directors. This list also includes those who came so close they could taste it -- and perhaps USATF will be lenient.

The Pud's results are enclosed, and note that Frank Moore, who turned 80 the day before Pud's, finished 297th overall between two teenagers. Frank's 5K time (8:19 mile pace) isn't an American record (see www.runningusa.org, then click around for masters age-group/AR performances), but it's a top 10 U.S. performance. I was unable to pinpoint exactly where Frank will be ranked. The single-age M80 AR for the 5K is 22:14, set by Warren Utes.
