Ithaca's Chris Getman and Scott Weeks of Groton competed on the Syracuse Chargers men's open team which placed second in their division. Getman's time was 15:30, and Weeks' recorded a 15:39. This is an eight-leg triathlon, which was shortened to four legs due to unsafe weather conditions. Athletes did the following: 30-mile bike, 21-mile run, swim half mile and "skytop tower," .7 miles.
