Rocky Raccoon 100-Mile Trail Run
Huntsville, Texas, Feb. 2

Local runner: Greg Loomis, Ithaca College alum, 16 hours, 28 minutes, 12 seconds -- fourth overall.

95th Annual Millrose Games
New York City, Feb. 1

Scott Weeks, Groton High School track and cross country coach, ran the third leg of the Syracuse Chargers 4 x 800-meter relay team that won first place with a time of 7:42.80. Weeks' teammates were Matt LoPiccolo, Brian Lombardo and Lubert Lewis. Cornell graduate Brian Clas won the men's open 3,000-meter race.

Feb. 2

Local runner: Nancy Kleinrock, Trumansburg, 3:40:38 (Chip timing).

29th annual Hudson Mohawk Winter Marathon
SUNY Albany, Feb. 24

Overall winners: Dan Dominie, Canton, 2:48:21; and Margaret Moore, Princeton, N.J., 3:25:44.

St. Valentine's Invitational Track Meet
Boston University, Feb. 9

Scott Weeks, Groton High track and cross country coach, ran the first leg of the victorious Syracuse Chargers' DMR. Weeks ran the first leg of 1200 meters in 3:00.35, along with teammates Mike Commisso, Lubert Lewis and Brian Lombardo. The team won in 9:52.37, and qualified for nationals.
