In Memory of Jennie Farley

We also offer our deepest sympathies to Don Farley and his family on the death of Jennie Farley, after a long illness, on June 19. She was 69.

Jennie Farley was a Cornell professor of industrial and labor relations, co-founder of Cornell's Women's Studies program, and a champion of women's rights.

The inaugural women's division of the Hartshorne Masters Mile was sponsored by Jennie Farley.

She continued to support her husband Don's outstanding athletic endeavors, and took special interest in the female runners in our club.

Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later time.
