USATF Niagara Association 2002 5K Road Race Grand Prix Series

Yes, yet another 5K series is there for the racing. This one features the following three 5Ks:

Aug. 25: Chris Thater Memorial 5K, Binghamton, 9:30 a.m. Contact Grace Tabeek: 722-8744.

Oct. 6: Festival of Races 5K, Syracuse, 9 a.m. Contact Dave Oja: daveoja@a-znet.com; Web: www.festivalofraces.com.

Oct. 19: Run for Hospice 5K, Rochester, 9:30 a.m. Web: www.runforhospice.com; e-mail: infor@runforhospice.com.

This series is open to all USATF Niagara Association members. Scoring categories include open men (16+); open women (16+); masters men (40+) and masters women (40+). Masters men and women will be age-graded in scoring (go! Margret Betz!). The winners will be determined by cumulative points of all three races.

Prize money will be given to the top 3 places in open and masters divisions (less for masters).
