Scott Weeks, Groton track and cross country coach, ran the first leg of the Syracuse Charger's men's Distance Medley Relay, which won third-place overall. Weeks ran the first leg of 1,200 meters in 3:00.9. His teammates were Mike Commisso, Matt LoPiccolo and Brian LomBardo.

Additional local results: Hartshorne Masters Mile runner-up, Carolyn Smith Hanna of Rochester, ran an American record among women ages 50-54 in the masters invitational 400 meters. Her time: 1:05.61.

USA Track & Field New Jersey Championship
Fairleigh Dickinson University

Local runner: Howard MacMillan, FLRC -- gold medals M75-79 in the 55 and 200 meters; silver medal in the 400 meters.
