The hardest-working contributor to this issue of the newsletter -- and the RD for the very successful Forge the Gorgeous Trail 7-Miler in Fillmore State Park (where, by the way, there were NO naked guys handing out Gatorade, at least we don't think so) -- is now our VP of Track.

Tim Ingall has taken over for Rick Cleary, now off doing standup comedy on the Hardrock Cafe circuit.

The Hartshorne Memorial Masters Mile is Jan. 19. Plus, four meets are down on paper for December through March, including the very enjoyable Family Fun Day at the Track. Cornell generously gives us the facilities, and we must abide by their dates and times. This year, two meets must start early and end early. Please note the times.

For info, email Tim at TimIngall@hotmail.com. We need volunteers, and we want a good turnout of runners. These meets are very low-key, and a good way to stay fast over the winter season.

Coaches of teams and local youth groups should see Tim about discounts.

And, as always, please check that the meet is not canceled before you travel too far to Ithaca. Things happen -- count on it!
