Frank Moore, Cathy Troisi, Margret Betz and Molly Huddle Rock!

News bulletin from George Gavras: Ithaca runner and longtime FLRC member Frank Moore was named athlete of the week by a local radio station as a result of his 25:31.1 clocking in the Pud's 5K. Frank is in his 70s, and that must be a national age-group ranking performance!

Molly Huddle of Elmira Notre Dame HS set a pending American record for girls age 16 at the Chris Thater Memorial 5K, Aug. 26, with a 16:45 clocking!

Margret Betz also went out of the age of 64 in a blaze of glory, clocking several sub 22 minute 5Ks for F64 records. Then at our Ithaca 5 & 10, Margret set a pending AR for F65 in the 5-miler with a 35 flat. Margret turned 65 on Sept. 13; the old F65 AR for 5 miles was 37:09.

Cathy Troisi finished the Around Lake Tahoe 72-miler in 19 hours, 31 minutes, 17 seconds on Sept. 8 to 9th. Ole Sal Rusby served as Cathy's crew all day and all night -- day-ohhh!
