Big Bird Better Than Ever

The Great Heron 5K Road Race is set for April 14, at Hobart and William Smith College, beginning at 9 a.m. This is a terrific way to spend the morning if you're not en route to the Boston Marathon that weekend. Entry fees are $12 pre- and $15 post. Tee-shirts to the first 350 residents (last year they were beauties!). Race proceeds benefit the battle against breast cancer.

T-Burg resident Sally Scatton is the race director. Sally is also coach of the three-time Div. III field hockey national champs. Entries will be available at the Skunk Cabbage race.
