Marine Corps Marathon 2001 Info

Ten-hut! Here's how to get into the Marine Corps Marathon in 2001 (Oct. 28) for those of you who want to join up! Applications will be available on Feb. 15, 2001, with a field of 16,000 accepted this year.

There will be a a three-tiered acceptance plan: MCM will accept 5,000 on April 10, beginning at noon; another 5,000 on April 18 -- online, beginning at 8 p.m.; then the remaining number will be selected via lottery on May 10 -- online or by mail. Your apps must be postmarked by May 1 for the lottery edition.
