Race Director's Forum - Ingall

[Assistant editor's note: in our never-ending attempt to get more folks writing for the newsletter, and in recognition of the fact that we're continuing each year to add great new races and race directors, here's our latest regular feature: Race Director's Forum, in which our very own race directors speak up about their events. Tim Ingall, whose recently-approved "Forging the Gorgeous" trail run should be one of the highlights of the summer season, leads off this new column].

Thanks very much to Lorrie and several other members of the FLRC who have supported my proposal of a new trail race next summer at Fillmore Glen State Park. My thanks to Alan Lockett, who painstakingly measured the course (while injured himself!), and got the race flyer underway. Very special thanks to Joe Dabes, who spent hours using his knowledge and computer skills going back and forth with me many times until I drove him crazy and was happy with the race flyer. Great job Joe. See you all in August if not before!
