Desperately Seeking Volunteers

And, speaking of those fine folks who work so hard on behalf of the membership, we are always looking for new volunteers. So here's our list of current volunteer opportunities:

Vice President of Track: This key position is vacating, due to Rick Cleary's impending departure. Track background and/or Cornell affiliation would be helpful. Great sense of humor an added plus in this stressful role!

Race Results Computer Team: We really want more people to learn the intricacies of our computer program for producing race results. The current core group is very small and extremely overworked. Training will be provided. If you've ever griped about slow race results, come and be part of the solution!

Equipment Manager: Jim Miner has kindly agreed to fill in temporarily, but this is another key position that needs a regular. Obsessive/compulsive types welcome here! Own storage facilities a real plus!

Volunteer Coordinator: A thankless task that's gone unfilled for several years since the last incumbent [Hi, Diane!] took on an even more thankless task. Persuasive personality and/or ability to strong-arm people an asset!
