The Finger Lakes Runners Club is an organization for runners of all ages and all degrees of ability and competitiveness: kids and masters runners, track and road runners, marathon runners, cross country and trail runners, joggers, those who run fast and those not as fast.
The Finger Lakes Runners Club has always taken pride in the fact that we are a running club for runners of all ability. We share a common belief that fitness and well-being can be achieved through running. It does not matter how fast or slow you are. Being a runner is a state of mind, and not the minutes on a watch.
We're located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, and pull members from Ithaca, Lansing, Dryden, Moravia, Newfield, and many more communities in the area.
The club welcomes all runners, interested in trail, road, track or just-plain-fun running!
Cayuga Computers supports a free listserv for the club. Communicate with other area runners to ask questions, plan training runs, or organize race-day carpools.
Here is a quick summary of directions for joining and using the list.

Membership Benefits
Another benefit is meeting and training with other runners with your
own interests. For example, a group of long distance runners interested
in marathons (and beyond) meets Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. at Schoelkopf
Hall on the Cornell Campus for training runs of 7 to 23 miles. We have
ties with the Hash House Harriers who meet for crazy runs every other
Sunday at 3 p.m. Others meet to do track work together. The Finger Lakes
Runners Club also has ties with the highly competitive High Noon Athletic
Club, a group that meets at the east end of Teagle Hall on the Cornell
campus at noon, Monday through Friday. See Where Should I Run? for more info
and tips about good places to run in the Ithaca area.
Dues are just $15 for individuals and $25 for a family for a full year (from start of membership). Simply complete a membership application and return it through the mail.
The club sponsors many races throughout the entire calendar year. For more information, along with race entry forms, check out the online calendar.
The club currently has more than 300 members.
But you never know who else you
might run with on a random training run.
