Finger Lakes Runners Club FLRC Lifetime Members

Long-serving, hard-working members are recognized by the Board of Directors with the award of a lifetime membership to the club. The list of lifetime members reads like a Hall of Fame of club heroes.

New Life Members (05-12-04)

Congratulations to the newest awardees of a FLRC Lifetime Membership!

1. Alan Lockett - Director of Fillmore for a number of years, and computer results nerd in the past.

2. John Whitman - Skunk director for several years in the deep past and again his present year!

3. Don Tily - He has put in a lot of hours.

4. Phyllis Radke - 10 years of service creating unique designs for race t-shirts, etc.

New Life Members (6-13-01)

Congratulations to the following nine people, who tonight the FLRC Board of Directors named as life members. Life members are not required to pay dues, but are encouraged to do so if they wish. Each of the following has put in hundreds of hours of their time helping the Finger Lakes Runners Club.

1. Lorrie Tily - past president and past 5 & 10 director for many years

2. Rick Hoebecke - director of Master's Mile for many years, former V.P. for Track, finish line timing at Skunk Cabbage and 5 & 10 for many years

3. Jim Bisogni - secretary for many years, former director of Skunk Cabbage, computer results at Skunk and 5 & 10 for at least 12 years

4. John Beach - former director of Twilight 5K and 5 & 10 and membership chair the last 6 years.

5. Joe Reynolds - director of Finger Lakes 50's and V.P. for Trails, both for many years

6. Jim Miner - director of Tortoise & Hare 10K+ and V.P. for Roads, both for many years. Also volunteer extraordinary (first to arrive and last to leave) many many years

7. John McMurry - V.P. for Track 5 years, Madness director 3 years, Monster director 3 years

8. Steve Ryan - Race Director for Forest Frolic and old Tom B., a total of about 9 years

9. David "Truck" Rossiter - director of Triennial Trail Relay for nearly 30 years and V.P. for Trails for several years
